What problems should be paid attention to when LED tunnel lights are used in tunnel lighting?
The tunnel is the main structure of the mountain highway. Due to its special structure, the sunlight in the tunnel cannot be directly directed. In order to solve the "black hole effect" or "white hole effect" caused by the sudden change of brightness when vehicles enter or leave the tunnel, the tunnel needs long-term lighting. The commonly used tunnel lighting lamps are LED tunnel lamps, which should pay attention to the following problems when applied to tunnel lighting:
1. Glare control. In tunnel lighting, glare should be controlled to a minimum to ensure adequate visibility for drivers. Generally, in tunnel lighting, high brightness LED is used as the light source, the light distribution is uniform, the light is soft and comfortable, avoid causing uncomfortable glare phenomenon, in order to ensure driving safety.
2, lighting uniformity. LED tunnel lights used in tunnel lighting require uniform illumination. Uniformity is the ratio between the minimum brightness and the average brightness of the wall and road surface below 2m in the tunnel. Uniform illumination helps drivers see road conditions and avoid traffic accidents.
3. Eliminate the "flicker effect". The main cause of "flicker effect" is the improper arrangement of lamp spacing, resulting in alternating changes of light and dark brightness cycle, causing uncomfortable feeling in the driver's line of sight. Therefore, when installing LED tunnel lights, we should pay attention to reasonable layout and effective planning of the distance between lights to avoid "flicker effect".
4. Emergency lighting. In addition to regular LED lighting, emergency lighting is essential in the tunnel. In the tunnel, in the event of an emergency, the emergency LED lighting can provide the right amount of lighting in a very short period of time, so that the driver can avoid the accident. It also includes LED emergency instructions to ensure the orderly and safe passage of vehicles through the tunnel in the event of an emergency.
5. Tunnel partition. In the lighting design of long tunnels, different lighting designs should be set for LED tunnel lights according to different areas of the tunnel. For example, the lighting brightness in the entrance and exit section of the tunnel should be higher than that in the middle section and transition section, so that drivers can adapt to the discomfort caused by moving from outside the tunnel to inside the tunnel, and also ensure the economic and practicability of tunnel lighting.
