In some long tunnels, the straight fluorescent lamp is also used for its high color rendering and better visual inductance of linear lighting. In addition, fluorescent lamps are less powerful and cannot be used in areas requiring higher illumination, such as inlet, transition and exit sections. In recent years, with the maturity of the technology of the electrode lamp, because of the elimination of the influence of the electrode factor, the fluorescent lamp compared to the traditional fluorescent lamp has a longer life, but also can achieve greater power, which makes the electrode lamp in the tunnel lighting shows the advantages. However, the luminous surface of the non-electrode lamp is large, and the optical efficiency of the whole lamp is low in the optical design.
Although there are still many difficulties and challenges in the large-scale application of LED tunnel lights, such as the imperfect standard of LED lighting products, the negative impact of some inferior products on the market promotion, and the high cost of initial purchase of LED tunnel lights.
